The biggest Exhibition Galery of Optical Illusion (Ilusi Optik 3D) of three dimensional created with the anamorphic optical illusion in Asia, which is Art in Island, has been opened on the Christmas Day in Cubao, Quezon City! When there has been several exhibition of 3d Three Dimensional Anamorphic Optical illusion (Gambar Ilusi Optik) opened in Manila, Cebu, and Boracay in the recent years. This is a gallery of optical illusion 3d trick art (Gambar Ilusi Optik 3D Tiga Dimensi) which is not only the biggest in Philippines, but also one of the biggest in the world. With the area covering 4100 square meters, Optical illusion Trick Art museum which is located in Jeju Island, South Korea at this moment is the biggest one. HOwever, in term of total artworks that get painted. Art in Island is still the winner.
For the museum in its size, someone will require two or three hours to be really enjoying all the exhibited gallery. Also get known as “optical art” or “3d art”, optical illusion trick art is basically a two dimensional image of trompe l’oeil which give the impression of three dimensional: in the form of depth. Art in Island has more than 50 trick art 3d murals which are painted by a group of 18 artists of 3d trick art from Korea which is purposefully coming from Korea for this project. The caricature sculpture from several artists also get exhibited all along the lobby before you get into the gallery. Since wearing shoes inside is prohibited to guarantee the durability of ed trick art artwork that get painted on the floor, comfortable sandals is provided for all the visitors. On this month, CEO Yun Jae Kyoung and the marketing manager Margarette Mamauag offer me to visit and get around the museum before it officially get launched on Christmas December 25th.
